I find purpose in the little things
in between the frozen frames of a photo
moments of quiet when I could simply be
laughter with loved ones, genuine and pure,
memories of fun and kindness,
there’s a quiet beauty
in the notion that life is fleeting
and having a palpable gratitude for the string of tiny memories with those you love
this year I strive to
let go of imaginary limitations
and move closer to the life I want
